following this we booked a mini cruise to Bergen...... we cancelled the free one!! It was the biggest rip off ever. We pre booked the meals (luckily) but they weren't worth the money, it was £4.50 for a pint of the local beer, the cinema & the pool were shut. We didn't book all meals to allow us the 'choice' bad move, we had a coffee, an orange juice & a 'hot dog' & it cost us over £13.
My advice, don't take any clothes with you just stock up on food & beer LOL
On the plus side though Bergen was beautiful - cold in March but beautiful non the less x
2010 - nothing as we emigrated to Australia!!! :j

no only had an hour..... you arrive at about 11pm you have to get off & you can either go to a club (only thing open but why bother??) or get straight back on & get up early. We got up early & went for a walk & got a really nice coffee from a seven11 type place (way better take away coffee than the tar we get here LOL). Can't get any souveniors though as nothing open & on the boat the postcards were all for the UK (Scotland & Newcastle) I was desperate for a jumper with a reindeer on too :rotfl: it was really bizarre you'd have thought they could make a killing as all the UK tourists would stock up
