Attendance Allowance - Anything i should claim with it?

Hi, my Mother has just been awarded the lower rate allowance. is there anything else could can get access to? a Blue badge possible and Railcard anything else?

Railcard yes, Blue Badge not automatically because Attendance Allowance didn't have a mobility component. Your mother would have to apply for that separately.
If anybody cares for her and meets the criteria they can claim Carers Allowance, and/or the carer element of UC. If she lives alone and doesn't have anyone claiming anything for looking after her then potential entitlement to Pension Credit would increase.
Best to do a benefits check for her, really

There is the possibility of a council tax reduction if your Mum has a condition that is classed as a severe mental impairment (apologies, horrible term), for example Dementia or Parkinsons
You claim via the local district council. They will have a form on their website.

I share a house with my ex husband. When I was awarded Attendance Allowance they reduced half of the council tax to zero. When he got AA the other half was reduced to zero. I believe the severe mental impairment falls under Council Tax Rebate, which is national, whereas Council Tax Reduction is decided on a local level and likely to be the source of your AA discount.0
