My pet hate - "Outlook" - to make things 'simpler' - MS called everything by the same name
Are you using the stand alone MS program/app called Outlook, or do you go on the Outlook website to access your emails?
I have absolutely no idea.  I have Outlook pinned so I just click on that.  How would I know??
Surely you know whether you access your email via an internet browser or an application installed on your computer?

I expect it seems obvious if you know.  Unfortunately I don't.  Can you give me a clue?
Do you access it as a desktop program installed on your machine or online via office 365?

I access it via a button pinned to the bottom of my screen on my pc.  I suppose it must be an app on my tablet and phone as it's on the "desktop" on both.

Button on Win10 menu bar will tend to open the desktop application. On phones / tablets  unless you are going  via a web browser  or  corporate portal into Office  it;s likely to be the app.

(currently on a learning curve with iOS  as  new work issued IT is an iPad ,but i've  assiduously avoided  iOS thus far for personal use  and  previous employer was BYOD for outside access to O365)
  • Don't click on any links but contact the company directly in case they are a genuine.  I was getting emails every day from one company a couple of them informed me my item had been delivered.  I googled them and they were a store in the USA but I couldn't actually access their site as I was outside the USA.  I contacted them through twitter.  Turns out someone had used my email to set up an account (could easily have been a typing error). As a result of that person not owning the email address they asked me if I wanted the account completely closed which they did.  Needless to say the emails stopped immediately

I keep getting emails from some company called Sirius that says my membership has expired and click on the link to extend it for 90 day free of charge.  Obviously I'm not clicking on any links.

They always go straight to my junk mail folder.  Normally stuff in there gets marked as phishing or is blocked.  Something about these emails means I can't do either of those things due to not giving a valid email address.  All I can do is delete.

Does anyone know a trick to block these coming in the future?  I get maybe 3 or 4 identical each week and it's been going on for months.

fyi - I'm on Outlook, I can't hoover over the email and see the sender's address, I'm not going to switch to gmail.  My laptop normally lets me block things and my phone allows me to normally mark as phishing.  My tablet only lets me delete.
When in doubt, try googling on '[Sirius] scam' which usually helps. You can report fake emails to SiriusXM directly at abuse@siriusxm.com, which might help to lessen the flow!
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

AIUI, Outlook application will not allow you to set rules or any other actions while the message is in the SPAM  / JUNK folder.  It is part of the security that the functionality is locked down on these messages.

To do anything, you need to drag the message to your INBOX, where the functionality will reactivate because the security assesses that you must trust the message if you decided it was not junk but real message.
