I keep getting emails from some company called Sirius that says my membership has expired and click on the link to extend it for 90 day free of charge.  Obviously I'm not clicking on any links.

They always go straight to my junk mail folder.  Normally stuff in there gets marked as phishing or is blocked.  Something about these emails means I can't do either of those things due to not giving a valid email address.  All I can do is delete.

Does anyone know a trick to block these coming in the future?  I get maybe 3 or 4 identical each week and it's been going on for months.

fyi - I'm on Outlook, I can't hoover over the email and see the sender's address, I'm not going to switch to gmail.  My laptop normally lets me block things and my phone allows me to normally mark as phishing.  My tablet only lets me delete.

Do they always have a particular word / word combination in the subject line? You can have them auto filed to junk or deleted using the "rules" function in outlook.

If they’re going straight into your junk mail folder, anyway, does it matter?

Are you using the stand alone MS program/app called Outlook, or do you go on the Outlook website to access your emails?

Because I get up to 50 junk emails a day and sometimes there are things in there that are not junk so I have to constantly be doing a clear out.  I've yet to figure out how not to get the junk.

I have absolutely no idea.  I have Outlook pinned so I just click on that.  How would I know??

Tried this and it doesn't seem to be working.  But maybe its because they are scamming the "from" address??

Surely you know whether you access your email via an internet browser or an application installed on your computer?

I expect it seems obvious if you know.  Unfortunately I don't.  Can you give me a clue?
