    Cold and wet start to the day in my small Welsh Valley, dog has been for a quick walk, he is not a great fan of the rain. Hopefully the rain will stop later and we can go back out.

    Plan for today is a trip to a tip shop in the next borough, love going there as you never known what you will find and the prices  are very reasonable, they just want to stop items going to landfill. Hopefully I will find a few vintage bargains for my shop.

    Mr D will be taking a door off a small cupboard that is in the corner of our bedroom, when the builder came he had a look as it get damp, only thing in there is plastic storage boxes. He recommended taking the door off to improve the air flow, will need a good clean, I have a small dehumidified I am going to pop in there. Hopefully this will rectify the issue and we can paint in the warmer weather with a good quality silk paint. Fingers crossed.

    Dinner this evening is a takeaway, Mr D's treat, while we watch the rugby.

    Good afternoon,

    Another wet miserable day here, dog has been reluctantly walk as there has been no let up in the rain. Fridge has been emptied and cleaned, not a lot in there as I have been using everything in readiness for a big shop that will be on Saturday. Had a late brunch today, used up a pate we bought at Christmas, had it with sourdough toast, rocket and tomatoes.

    Don't feel I have achieved much this week, here is my round up anyway.

    Week 5

    * 5 NSD's.
    * £916.53 sent to various saving accounts.
    * 1 personal eBay sale , towards my challenge. 16/240.
    * Next weeks meals all planned using up what we have in the fridge.
    * Envelopes  9, 21, 22 & 25 stuffed for the month. Envelop savings total £431.00.
    * 20 items photographed ready to list.

    Hope everyone is having a good Sunday.

    Have  a list of what I want to achieve next week. Realised I spent most of the week in the office covering for a colleague. I am up early in the mornings and that is when I get a lot of things done, made me realise how much time traveling to and from work takes.

    WFH will resume next week thankfully.

    Happy Sunday Morning!

    Bright start to the day in my little Welsh Valley, fingers crossed for a dry day. There is a joint of beef slowly cooking in the oven, batter has been made for Yorkshire puddings and a few pancakes later.
    Plan for today in a shopping trip to the nearest big town to buy paint for the bedroom and bathroom, I did think to start these project when we come back form a cottage break at the end of March, change my mind I want them completed before we go.

    Been thinking about my money pots and will be making changes in the next few day as to where the money will be saved into and what for.

    Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

    Happy Thursday.

    Cant believe how fast the weeks are going! Pain was bought on Sunday, spent £85.00, had two 10liter tubs of brilliant white, bathroom paint of the wall cupboard and bathroom ceiling and a coloured paint for a feature wall in the bedroom. First coat of paint in the cupboard and it look so much better.

    Had the quote back from the builder and its more that we were expecting, prices have gone up since the last time we had work done. Work is planned for May when we go on holiday, builder is known to use and we trust him in the house, so glad I will be missing out on the dust and mess.

    Working from the office today, so will be dropping a few bags of stuff into the charity shop and calling into the parcel shop, also need a few fresh bit, down to the last drop of milk.

    Have a good day all.
