    Happy Sunday!

Glad January has gone as I find it a rather long month, February I find is a much better month. February is also my DS's birthday month and he will be 30 this year. Will go out for a nice meal as he is not one for large celebrations. Birthday pot will cover this.

Yesterday I did a small grocery shop as we are definitely living out of the freezer  and cupboard for the next month. Will only need to buy fresh fruit, veg etc. Small freezer will by going into the shed when its empty, so hopefully by the end of the month.

DS was here yesterday moving electrical sockets in the kitchen, small amount of work created so much dust, kitchen has had a wipe over, not touched the other rooms yet, surprising how far the dust travels. Mr D plans to take the tile off the walls toady so there will be more dust, will have a good clean through of downstairs tomorrow, before work.

My job for today is to photograph a large pile of clothes ready to list later, want to reduce my clothes by half , as many have not been worn for a good few years. Tend to wear the same things most of the time, working for home doesn't help with this, work wear is sometime PJ's (clean) and a hoodie.

    Hello,

Just finished another long working week, even though it was only four days. Work is getting very busy at the moment. :(  Didn't help this week that I am full of a cold, coughed and sneezed my way through the whole week. I am hoping I will feel better next week and had a bit more energy.

Kitchen is now finished and we are extremely please with the finished result, first payment goes out on May 1st, decided it's another payment going out of the account and not to get worked up by the debt word.

No plans for the weekend, just a small food shop tomorrow and a walk around the village, have a few books I need to drop off at the charity shop. Decluttering is going well, though I have lost count of the total items as we have done so many tip runs in the last few weeks, still a fair bit to declutter.

Opened a new ISA this week and set myself a new challenge how much can I save in the ISA year. This will be where all my extra pennies will go. It's pay day next week so need to look at next months budget ,something I will look at this weekend.

    D.x
