Skint_yet_Again said:Great prices on the tyre and breakdown cover! My breakdown is due for renewal in January. I paid £63.84 with flag of green last year so I am dreading to think what it will be this year. That’s for everything apart from driving abroad. Do you mind sharing who you have yours with?Glad doggo has left the tree alone!

Weve been using Gem breakdown cover. Cant remeber the price now and might not be the cheapest, but way less that AA /RAC

Happy Sunday morning.
Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.
First time since before Christmas I am starting to feel human, we have both had flu and have slept through most of Christmas. In my waking moments I have been setting up my new phone I received from Mr D, mine was on its way to mobile heaven, I have had it for about 8 years, I have never felt so frustrated as I have been setting up this phone, still have a few app to log into. One in particular eBay has locked me out of my business account, waiting for an email to sort it out.
Fridge needs a good sort out, see what needs using up in the next few days and a meal plan needs doing for next week. Will need to do a fruit, milk shop tomorrow when we are out as we have an appointment with the kitchen company. Looking forward to going back to work next Thursday so I can get back into my routine.
Payday on Tuesday so I need to sit down and look at next months budget and the next few months factoring in the kitchen repayment.
Plan for today is to do some cleaning and take down the Christmas decorations.

Happy New Year to all.
We were in bed before midnight, I didn't even hear the fireworks that were going off in the street, Mr D said there was a display for a good 15 minutes. We had planned a beach walk this morning, weather dependant and it hammering down here and blowing a gale, dog will get a quick walk around the street, that is if I can get him out the door.
Christmas tree and window lights need to come down today and a quick clean through downstair, don't think I will have energy for much else, woke up with a throat that feels like I have been chewing razor blades, though I was getting better. I am back to work tomorrow thankfully I will be WFH.
Declaring a NSD 1/15. Hoping to get to next weekend before I need to do any grocery shopping fingers crossed. Plan for the rest of this week and next is to use up what we have in the fridge, we have a meal plan. I had bought some oat milk as I want to change items in my diet to see if I can improve my energy levels, as I am constantly tired. One thing at a time. Will also be eating more healthy as, this has slipped some what over Christmas.
Kitchen has been agreed and finance put in place, we only have a small kitchen and its eye watering how much they cost. We are taking out old kitchen out as this saved on the cost. Will be making a start over the weekend decluttering the cupboards.
Still need to do my finance shuffle and count up the change I have in the house for my 1p savings challenge.
