Another working day over. 7 more working days before our holiday, have a work list I need to complete before I sign off a week Thursday.
Dry day so I took advantage and wash some holiday clothes and they are on the line nearly dry, I will iron them in the morning and make a start on packing the cases. Cases are in the front room with little piles of things sitting on the sofa ready to be packed.
Not a NSD I bought my work friend a belated birthday breakfast, when I went to the office for a couple of hours this morning and I needed to use my Chase card with the pin number as its declined contactless the last few times. So that is done and card is safely stored in holiday purse.
Back to running down the fridge, so this evenings meal is a chicken casserole to use up some of the vegetables in the bottom of the fridge.
Also had a successful free site pick up, they turned up and on time.more items leaving my house.

Back home after a fabulous week in Spain. Unfortunately the house resembles a building site, which we expected. So glad we have been away for the biggest part of the works.Still a few days work left to go.
Looking forward to sleeping in our own bed tonight. Tomorrow is a new day with the promise of sunshine. 🌞

Glad you had a lovely holiday. Hopefully the builders will be finished soon. My next door neighbour is having an extension built and the noise seems to have been going on for weeks 🫤0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Good morning,
After a few days of lovely sunshine we are back to a very over cast sky and a drop in temperature. Working from home today as its my first day back and I have over 350 email to sort through. Plus phone messages, texts, etc.
Builder should be here soon to plaster front room, few more day and they will be finish house can have a good clean on the weekend, I have just been wiping surfaces and mopping floor as the dust gets everywhere. I will be upstairs keeping out of their way, Mr D will be looking after the dog and on tea duty.
Have a parcel I need to take to the parcel shop later, sale while I was away. Today will also be a NSD first sine 2nd May.

Hopefully the rain and drop in temperature this week is just a temporary blip.Don’t blame you for keeping out of the way of the builders 😉0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Good morning,
No rain so far this morning, currently have a line full of washing out, will be looking out for the rain that is forecast later.
WFH again today so will be a NSD 4/15. Builders never turned up yesterday so fingers crossed for today. Work, builders and the dog to contend with, its going to be a fun day.
On a positive note I found £44.00 in my Direct Debit account, how I manage that I will never know, all payments have gone out, so will be transfusing over to one of the savings pots later, when I have double checked again that all in how it should be.

Happy Friday
Four day weekend for me, taken annual leave to make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend. Have a carpenter turning up in the next hour to finish off the skirting boards and all the building work is complete. New paster has dried out nicely, going to start on the front smaller living room, as I am excited to set the room up as my home office.
On the money front I was lucky enough to receive the £100 from Nationwide, this will go straight into one of the savings pots
Filled another envelop this week for the 52 week envelope challenge have 6 left to fill over the next few weeks. I have been transferring this money into the YBS, Christmas Saver, each month and there will be 6% interested added when the team ends in October. Also started a 1p Saving Challenge which I will also get finished by Christmas.
Plan this morning is to get some eBay listing done and a grocery shop this afternoon.
