Royal Mail tracking shows ebay parcel delivered, but reciptant says its not been.

We've had this too recently.

A shop in east London bought the item, electronic goods, and their first contact was to say they hadn't received the item. We checked the tracking data and saw it had been signed for by the shop. Told them this and it went quiet and they went away. Seems like it was their default position to claim it hadn't been delivered, which, presumably, would have worked if we hadn't kept the tracking receipt.

Update: She received the item on the 18th, undamaged and unopened; tracking in ebay now shows the item has been delivered ... twice lol!
