    I doubt it. There are usually multiple boxes towered onto pallets and they are slashing prices further by Christmas Eve to get rid.

    When you see the price of prepared vegetable dishes over the festive season you certainly pay a lot for convenience.

    One reason I like to have a small bottle of Maple syrup in cupboard at this time of year.

    Just found this for Aldi- from Monday 18th

    Vegetables included in the festive deal are
    1kg of carrots,
    2kg of white potatoes
    500g bag of parsnips.
     Also available as part of the offer will be Aldi’s red and white cabbages,
     500g brussels sprouts 
     swedes.
     The bags of white potatoes will be priced at 15p, while the other vegetables will be 19p each.

    Delia's red cabbage (cooked in s.c. here I come!)

    Went to our Alidi at 0805 today and got plenty of the 15p veg.  The staff did not know, potatoes still showing 1.29 but got them to check and they are 15p.  Thanks peeps.
