Company going bust- do I have any chance of getting my money back?

I contacted my bank (Lloyds) and indeed, they were able to do a chargeback. Money is already back in my account (unless company which went bust disputes it, so I’m not celebrating just yet). Nevertheless, thank you all for sharing your knowledge and getting me back on a right track with it, really appreciate it x1

With ApplePay it just shows on the statement that it's a payment to the merchant. There is nothing to signify to the customer it was ApplePay or the card that was used. The bank certainly can tell the difference because ApplePay gets a different card number when a card is added to the system.born_again said:
That all depends on how the debit shows on statement 👍DullGreyGuy said:
no but a chargeback is available for both... no need to even mention that it was via ApplePay.Notanothernickname said:I used debit card (via ApplePay). Both transactions were under £100 so even if I used credit card it wouldn’t make much of a difference
