SKY Mobile proof of delivery

I returned some unwanted Air pods to sky mobile back in September 23, within 3 days of receiving them and in unused condition.3 months on they have not acknowledged receipt, although tracking info with Royal Mail says delivered. When I contacted them they said they required the original Royal Mail receipt ,which I do not have, or they will not refund me. The items where sent back using their supplied tracking label which contains the tracking number.
Following various discussions with Sky, they have now told me that they are no longer willing to discuss the issue and I will have to resolve through a 3rd party (CEDR).
As far as I am concerned, they have all the information required and the issue is that the items have been lost after successful delivery at their returns depot. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

If they supplied the return label & paid. It is their issue to chase. Not yours.

I disagree, it's seems like they are disputing that the label was used (with whatever evidence they think they have) so have asked the OP for proof they used the label i.e. the receipt of posting.

If it were to go to a dispute resolution service or court then Sky will present whatever evidence they think they have and the OP will need to counter that (as the one claiming wrongdoing). 

Proof of posting would be a good way to do that but tracking might be okay as long as it documents received by Sky and not to some nearby post office delivery centre as some tracking does.
