You will receive the judgment in the post in November. Cross your fingers for a bit of luck. A Judge MIGHT strike the claim out as both parties are a no-show.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Cheers. Is there any way of finding out the result otherwise (I live in some new builds and RM aren't great with getting the post to us)? I'm not expecting any sort of response by querying with the court via email, but could they tell me if I called them or drove up there upon my return to the UK? Would just want to pay it off as soon as to avoid a CCJ.0

You could try asking but not until November or the court staff will say the judgment isn't written up yet.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Arrived back in the UK yesterday. Called the 'general' court number I have been provided with just now and been told they haven't received any result/order yet and that it can take up to 16 weeks for the order to be typed up. I queried about how long I have to pay before receiving a CCJ and was told 30 days from the date the order is made, which would have been 24/10 and that I would need to contact the court that held the hearing if I wanted to find out the result sooner. They told me that the specific court that held a hearing do not have a public contact number and that I can only email them.
I raised the issue that they never respond to their emails and queried what exactly I could do to find out the result and whether I needed to pay and how much before 30 days elapse, to avoid a CCJ, but essentially just got told all I could do was email the court (to the email they never respond to) or wait for the order to be typed up and sent to me via post (which could be after 30 days).
At a loss as to what to do here - just want to find out the result and pay up if I have to and move on without risking a CCJ. Even got advised to contact the claimant to find out, but would't trust what they would say, plus they apparently didn't attend either so surely they don't know as well. Not sure how it works from here...0 -
Very difficult.
Email the hearing court daily?

Drum roll please....
I won! I !!!!!! won! Claim dismissed. I cannot actually believe it.
Letter just came through the post today. Judge's comments read as follows:
'Upon reading the documents for the Claimant and no attendance by the Defendant
And upon noting that the landowner agreement denies the site as '492 Great Cambridge Road' but there being no evidence that this is the site of the alleged breach of contract
IT IS ORDERED THAT
1. The claim is dismissed.'
No witness statement from the defendant? No attendance by the defendant at court? No problem!
Read it and weep Met Parking Services/CST Law. Made all the sweeter knowing that whilst they were preparing their 30+ page witness statement, I was enjoying myself on holiday.
Time to rub it in to my mates who paid (whom I had told not to).
Thanks a lot to everyone who assisted.2 -
Well done, you'd better go and buy a lottery ticket, it's not often the defendant wins when not attending.1
