    £23.62

    Total for 16 March 24

I’ve thought about how I might make the daily total updates a little less dull. I’ve decided to highlight a good thing that happened on the previous day. I know a lot of us have real and varied struggles but I firmly believe that there is something good in even the darkest of days……

So, yesterday I went to a book signing being run by a retired vicar. Now I’m not here to promote religion as we tend to avoid politics and religion on here. However, this particular man represents to me all that is good in humanity. He absorbs the costs of publishing himself and donates his sales proceeds to charities, especially to help those much less fortunate. He is far from being a rich man. He lives a fairly humble existence with his lovely wife, but he treats everyone with kindness and respect, recognising that we are all made differently. My Mum always says there are so many kind people around, it’s just that they often tend to be rather reserved. I think she’s absolutely right.

  • That's a nice post Antomac, I agree that most kind people I know are very unassuming. I like to think I am a kind person, I was brought up to show respect and tolerance, help others and to generally be a nice human being.

Anyway, I am PADding £59 today to various places
