The ones that start with a name always work if the person still works there.

  • I can’t see a staff list or emails with a name? Any ideas?

There's a staff-list on their website. Among the pictures of lions and inappropriately aggressive phrases about hunting.

I assumed you'd searched this forum and found some emails.

  • Haha. Yes, I have found the page. There are no email addresses of the staff members? I’m just conscious of making sure I CC the correct designated person from DCB Legal Ltd to ensure they receive my DQ. Don’t want that coming back to haunt me, if that makes sense. With them saying I emailed the wrong email address.

I didn't say the website gives you the email addresses of the staff.  That's not what I said at all! I repeat:

  • Hi,

I have completed the DQ and sent a copy to DCB Legal Ltd. Please see below an email I have received from them today including pictures of signs. These signs are different to the ones I took a few years ago when this incident occurred.

We write in relation to the above matter.

As per your request, please find attached the evidence we hold on the Parking Charge Notice issued against you on XXX April 2018 at XXXX. If there are any documents that you have requested, but that are not enclosed with this email, it is because we have deemed the request to be disproportionate and/or not relevant to the substantive issues in dispute.

WITHOUT PREJUDICE SAVE AS TO COSTS

In order to assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our Client may be prepared to make an offer to conclude this matter. A settlement at this stage would avoid further potential costs being incurred. We therefore ask that you call us as soon as possible to discuss this further.

    My questions are:

    1. It is one month away from being 6 years old. Does this mean after 6 years it can't be heard in court?

    2. What are the next steps? I submitted the DQ 2 weeks ago but not heard anything yet?

    3. When do I start to work on my witness statement and when do I submit this? I have no correspondence on this matter?

    Thanks all.

    1. The six year clock stopped when they issued the County Court Claim. It will now go on as long as it takes.

    2. Could take weeks. Could take months.

    3. Start work on your Witness Statement preparation and evidence gathering whenever you like.
  • Thank you for your response @KeithP - appreciated.

Do you recommend replying to the email above that I received today?
