  • As above you need to directly state you are exercising your short term right to reject as the goods do not conform to the contract.

Which retailer did you order with?
It was ao and the manufacturer is Stoves
Thanks OP, AO should recognise your right to reject, did you buy with AO finance?

Thanks OP, I would send an email along the lines of:

    Dear AO

With regards to order xxx, the issue experienced with the cooker continues to occur despite 2 engineer visits and a repair attempt, as such I am exercising the final right to reject the goods for a full refund

If you may contact me to
confirm a refund will be issued in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act and arrange collection of the cooker I'd be most grateful

I would like to be able to resolve this amicably but if we are unable to achieve such I will contact my card provider for further assistance.

    Thank you in advance,
    Sincerely
    Cookiepops

If AO mess about you can contact your bank and ask them to raise a S75 claim which places the exact same liability on the credit provider as it does the retailer.

The bank may try a chargeback first, of which there is only one attempt, if that isn't successful you can then insist upon a S75 claim (or may go straight to S75).

Keep us updated if you can and pop back for any more help if needed :)
