Hello, number 105 here, please can you put me in for a May overpayment please, for £174.94.  This will take me to a year to date of £925.03.

Also realised when updating the numbers, this means I am down to my last £20K left on the mortgage! So fingers crossed it will be able to be paid off by the end of 2026, which thanks to the overpaying will have shaved around 8 years off the mortgage.   As i am already paying off the 10% over the year i am allowed to pay off, have been squirrelling away some extra money in premium bonds with the intention of cashing them in to pay mortgage off when there is enough in there.

well done everyone on the over payments and thanks again for running the challenge Julicorn

    #45 for May.

Overpayment for this month was £4023.92.

DH salary has increased so can pay more off a month and mortgage company have reduced minimum payments due to overpayments so that £23.92 each month will increase too as I'm not decreasing my usual monthly payment  And another £10k barrier gone through so the mortgage now starts with a 5!

    As usual, thanks Julicorn.
