    Hi @julicorn .
Please can I join for 2024. Target of £24000. I've had a few years off but now ready to hunker down and get it paid off before our great rate shoots up.
  • Hi @julicorn - I'd love to join for 2024.  Can I stick with number 56?  Saves me having to remember a iddfferent one!  Target for 2023 was £5k which I exceeded.  I'm going to go with a target of £7k this year.  Im overpaying less and saving more into an isa with a higher rate in the hope I can make a lump sum at the end of my 5 year term.

Hi Julicorn, I was #69 so happy to keep that number.  I’m going in for £1,500 this time as I have some other stuff to pay out as well.  I’ll see how the year progresses but that figure feels comfortable at the moment.  Many thanks Hettyhound

  • Hi @julicorn, could I join for the first time please?  We’ve been paying a healthy £400+ off the mortgage each month since we moved almost 3 years ago but have just scaled that back to about £100 in the last few months to help with COL cash flow.  Ideally we’d like to increase again this year so I’m going to set a target of £2400 and see how we go with that.  Many thanks, Custard.

    Hi everyone

I managed to beat my 2023 target so for 2024 I'm going to set a target of £9,000.  I'm entering the last 18 months of my 5 year fix so am determined to throw as much as possible to overpaying before my rates shoot up.

Happy to keep my current number #38.

Many thanks for running a great thread @julicorn

  • Hi Julicorn. Please can I join again? I will set a target of £3,000 and hopefully that’s more achievable than my target for 2023 was - other stuff always got in the way! 🙄 I’d like to keep #49 if I can please. Thanks for organising Julicorn xx

Yay, thank you for setting up @julicorn ❤️
Happy to stay with the same number. New target will be £6700, as we can only pay 10% off new mortgage.

  • Hi Julicorn,

I'd like to take part again. I'll up my target slightly to £2400 and would like to keep my number (#11) if that's OK.

    Thanks again.
