Lyca Mobile Woes
Has anyone else suffered the unreliability and bare-faced lies that I have with Lyca Mobile? Whenever it goes down - and I can manage to get through to customer service - they come up with an excuse, say that they will fix the problem, (and that I don't need to call back), but they have never actually fixed anything. When I call back and report the latest issue, they just repeat the apologies, excuses and lies and say they will fix it - and that I don't need to call back. The service remains as unreliable and unstable as ever. It is impossible to schedule anything more than a social video call, because one never knows what the bandwidth will be ahead of time. Typically, download speeds are reasonable, with some terrible congestion at busy times, as well as complete dropouts, but upload speeds and ping times are less predictable. Often, the upload and ping performance is so bad that Skype and Zoom, etc just disconnect. It's totally incompatible with modern business.

You're far from alone, see the various threads about Lyca on pages 4/5 here. Best to concentrate on porting your number to another network, good luck..!
Evolution, not revolution0 -
I also had terrible service from them. Things go wrong with any provider. But they go wrong more often and with worse support than any other.
Lyca staff have no way to affect anything, no knowledge of whats happening and will say anything to get rid of you.0 -
