Hi guys, i hope someone can help.
I have a BT mobile contract and it is up in a few months time, and i wondered is it worth asking for a better deal if i want to renew it, like martin's thread suggested ? i am on BT mobile 150 with the nokia 6230 and i have another member on my bill paying £10 a month, if that makes any sense. monthly bill usually comes to £32 for 150 xnet, and 50 texts. one montha i had a £80 bill.

Please advise me guys.
Rob.

you could poss get the mobileshop.com deal.... the 6230i is a really good phone for £10/month by redemption...better than the 6230,texts/talk roll over for 1 month, mobileshop have a good reputation as well, hope that helps
never put off buying a bargain today,it may be gone tomorrow
  • Here's the deal Jon referred to - possibly worth getting whoever else is on your bill to take this - its £9.99 through cashback (Mobileshop are one of the more reliable co's for this) - you can get it for £90pa by going through Quidco and getting a further thirty pounds back.

As for your question - BT mobile are not one of he co's 'buying' retentions plus your spend is low at the normal £30. You're better off - getting a decent cashback deal at the time and selling the 6230 - there's nearly always a few decent deals around.

i was trying to get a good deal off BT for renewing.. most i got offered was either £100 credit or 50 free texts a month or a £2.50 credit a month

i decided they werent as pro active at keeping customers as some so have since gone elsewhere.. tho mobileshop had a good deal on with BT sim card which with cashback worked out free tho u couldnt keep your number
