In January 2023 i received a text message at midnight from Aer Lingus  stating to contact them. it turns out my flight from Glasgow via Dublin to LA was now cancelled with less than 12 hours before we flew. with no explanation for the cancellation. We eventually flew Glasgow-London-Washington-LA and in total ended up travelling for just over 24 hrs.  I had booked a Panama Canal cruise package through a cruise company, however because my flights were booked with BA who shared the flight with Aer Lingus i had to contact Aer Lingus personally to claim compensation. Aer Lingus have been a nightmare to deal with whilst trying to claim compensation for my cancelled flight. Basically stating each time that i wasn't entitled to any form of compensation, even though i had pre-paid for booked twin seats  on the Dublin - LA flight and i was also charged luggage fees of $75 at Washington airport to have my cases allowed on the the United Airlines flight to LA.

After 11 months of getting nowhere, i decided to use MSE Resolver and following their guidance i have received my compensation in full after only 6 weeks.
