I asked today about use by dates and they said that anything without a date on would be fine to use for a year.

So THANKS VERY MUCH, Saintscouple, for starting this thread and making me aware of this rather amazing deal. I don't normally get big treats like this. :T

It's a real pleasure to help, and we're glad so many of you managed to get some good free gifts.
If you're out shopping Christmas eve next year, it's a worth a pop in to see what gift sets they have left for the sale:D
  • Went to Harrogate today at about midday had nothing exciting left ended up with a pot of dream cream free, wanted to get some snowfairy but they didn't have any left :( Well done every might have to get there early next year.

Went to the Victoria stn one first. The staff werent friendly and when I asked about the offer they made me feel as though I was stealing. Ran towards the 100 pounds hat box one, but they said it wasnt included. Didnt check sticker so it might have been. if anyone near victoria it might be worth checking that one out.

Went to Carnaby street though and got Winter Wonderland. Very pleased. They had loads left. The staff were really lovely and pointed out the more expensive boxes to get free.

Thanx to the poster who mentioned Carnaby street as I wouldnt have bothered going there.

How many hat boxes did they have left in Victoria? I might give it a go tomorrow.
  • Oh poo, I only just found out about this just now! I hope there's something left when I go tomorrow (in Exeter). Anyone know whether it's already cleaned out, so I can decide whether to go or not?

it was largely cleared out by midday yesterday so i doubt there's much left now!

There was one 100 pound hat box. They had about 4 winter wonderlands behind the till which I asked about, but was told that these were also not included.
Good luck if you go tomorrow. Hope you (as an mser) manages to get the box.

I went to look at three Lush stores in Central London today: Regent Street, Carnaby Street & South Molton Street. None of them had free gifts worth more than £15. Carnaby Street had the biggest choice but I really couldn't justify spending £15 on 5 bars of soap. The £15 free gift boxes only had about three items in them!

In two of the stores, they did have the £100 hat box but these were both made after 1st December & had large white rectangular stickers with dates on the bottom.

The free gifts have large yellow rectangular stickers with dates (nearly all were October/November) marked on them.
