  • Have just come back from Lush in Chester and there were loads of eligible gift boxes as they weren't open yesterday. I was going to buy a box anyway before I read this thread with money given to me by my nan, but after reading this last night I made sure I got in as they opened and they had a whole corner of them.

With my purchase of a winter wonderland box £39.95 and a couple of bits I got 2 x Wish list boxes (£49.95 each) and another winter wonderland all completely free, I was well chuffed it has made my day as I love Lush stuff.

There was only one other person in the shop when I was there and I was there over half an hour and no one else came in an even looked at them. There were all different sized boxes and absolutely loads of everything, so I didn't feel bad taking 3.

I asked about the £99 one but they said they had all gone.

If you are in or near to Chester it is well worth going in.

Thanks for starting this thread I am really really grateful.:j

Went to Carnaby and this time got what I wanted: Lush Legends and Art of Bathing! :)

They had lots of everything and we didn't try to crush each other grabbing the gifts.

Sheffield opened today; they didn't have any of the big hatboxes left (apart from some that weren't eligible as they were made in December) but they did have a load of other boxes, including You're A Star, worth £29.95. I ended up buying £60 worth of stuff and getting just over £100 worth free, so I'm pleased even though I didn't get any of the bigger ones! It was all very civilised too with no pushing or grabbing.
  • I went to town today and whilst all the massive hat boxes had sold before christmas i got the star gift box, nudge nudge wink wink, and another merry christmas box - totaling about £80! Well chuffed - i'll split out the products for lots of pressies :)
  • Went to the Victoria stn one first. The staff werent friendly and when I asked about the offer they made me feel as though I was stealing. Ran towards the 100 pounds hat box one, but they said it wasnt included. Didnt check sticker so it might have been. if anyone near victoria it might be worth checking that one out.

Went to Carnaby street though and got Winter Wonderland. Very pleased. They had loads left. The staff were really lovely and pointed out the more expensive boxes to get free.

Thanx to the poster who mentioned Carnaby street as I wouldnt have bothered going there.

General rule: If it smells weird, chuck it.

The soap, ballistics, bubble bars etc will lose their scent over time but won't go off. I still have some soap from last year and it still smells fine. Try to keep your stuff in a cool room.

Oh, and if the items are wrapped in paper, move them to plastic bags. The oils will start to leech out in a couple of months...

I went to Preston this morning at about 10. All of the big items had gone. However, there were plenty gift boxes left around £20-25.

And it's not only gift boxes you can get. It's anything made before December, with a white label.

I got a GORGEOUS moisturiser, as did lots of other people. I'd never dream of spending £35 on a moisturiser, but I couldn't resist it as a freebie.

Thanks to the OP cos I would never have known about this offer if not. I managed to buy 2 small gift boxes totalling £15.90 and then got a free happy bathday gift box worth £25. I was well chuffed with this as the 2 small ones will make great birthday prezzies and I get to bathe in luxury with the huge freebie box!
  • Oh poo, I only just found out about this just now! I hope there's something left when I go tomorrow (in Exeter). Anyone know whether it's already cleaned out, so I can decide whether to go or not?
