It is definitely going to be handled very differently to the way Nationwide are just going to consume the Virgin Money brand over time.
This video seems to be doing the rounds on the socials: https://streamable.com/1e0ute

I genuinely couldn't be more pleased that a Building Society have bought the Co--op Bank, couldn't be a better match and a great outcome for the members and customers of both institutions. That said, some of the publicity is saccharine to say the least, and this video is almost unbearable.Stuart_W said:This video seems to be doing the rounds on the socials: https://streamable.com/1e0ute2 -
Yes, but most of us on here are pretty knowledgable about finance and banking - to us a lot of banking advertising (like The Bank of Ant and Dec) is pretty patronising. To the general public possibly less so.gary1312 said:I genuinely couldn't be more pleased that a Building Society have bought the Co--op Bank, couldn't be a better match and a great outcome for the members and customers of both institutions. Coventry has appointed Andrea Melville, a former Lloyds and Santander director to become CEO of Co-operative Bank, subject to regulatory approval, from June. She'll also be Chief Commercial Officer of the overall group, which will continue to be led by Steve Hughes.
I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.3 -

Interesting indeed. I wonder how complete the range of Coventry BS services offered is, and whether it's the same staff doing both.
Much nicer colour frontage too, the Newcastle under Lyme branch just down the road has the same:
