CST Law Letter Before Claim

Hello again.
Thought it would be better if I filled you all in on my position. I’ve been asking questions but have given little details to my specific case. I have read the Newbies thread, but much of it I feel is contradictory to others I have read.
In 2021 the driver parked the car on a nearby retail park and several days later received a PCN through the post. Initially I thought the PCN was for the manner in which the car was parked (slanted in the bay) for which the signage warns against. Seeing as the car was parked within the lines I chose to ignore all mail correspondence. Lately though, I was beginning to think it may have been because the driver may have left the site. The initial letter I received was from Care Parking wanting £100. These later changed to ‘PAY NOW’ letters from Debt Recovery Plus wanting £160. These then changed again more recently to CST Law letters – again for £160 - culminating in the present LBC (which after reading certain threads has left me with some doubts over its authenticity). See inserted image.
My question is what do I do next? If the driver did leave the site, will there be photographic evidence available. And if the driver is guilty, what of this £60 increase in charge, which, if I’m not mistaken, is unlawful? And, is this LBC genuine?
Hope someone can help. And please, don’t direct me to the newbies thread claiming its all been answered before. It really doesn’t help.
Cheers

This is difficult because the NEWBIES thread does have a brand new LBC response (I wrote it only last month) right there for you to use.
That is the advice.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have read the Newbies thread, but much of it I feel is contradictory to others I have read. Can we have a read of those please? Link? Or please describe the contradiction(s), then we can put you straight. Without those, we've no idea where there's contradiction. My question is what do I do next?Respond to it as if a LBC. No harm done if it's not.If the driver did leave the site, will there be photographic evidence availableUnlikely (based on many 'leaving the site' cases we've seen from a number of PPCs), but we'd just be guessing. You can log in and look at your case on the PPC's website. That will tell you, then tell us.And, is this LBC genuine? If it is followed by a Court Claim via the Northampton CNBC.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hiya fellas. Sorry have not replied, have been away. Concerning the contradictions, its more of a feeling that you're being pulled in different directions by the different threads. The more you read, the deeper into the rabbit hole you seem to go. So there are no specific links I can give.Anyway, I went to the PPC website - which is ocean parking - but could not find a way in to see any evidence. Any Ideas before I start writing the email to this lot?0
