The ongoing service will end @ the last game covered by season ticket (subject to being within 540 days of debit date). Not when they went into administration.
Refund would be based on number of games paid for upfront, & how many covered by season ticket @ point of administration.
So if 20 games paid for & 10 played, then a 50% refund.

Can't link to Visa rules as all on internal systems.

I've already given you approximate dates of first (September 2022) and last (May 2023) scheduled games covered by the season ticket, so the whole period would be within 540 days of the debit date in June 2022, and it's likely that a claim made today would also just about be within 540 days too. But what you still haven't made any reference to is the need to claim within 120 days of the end of the period covered by the ticket, and that is well past. So is the MSE guide simply wrong to refer to 120 days, or is there some super-secret Visa rule that nobody can know about as it's kept internal that overrides that timeframe?

No there isn't 120 would be in play.
Was not aware of last match date.

But Op could look at S75 if ticket is over £100. As single match price would not come into play in this case.

Fairly simple to figure out right - the 120 day rule applies to most (if not all) purchases that involve physical goods, which is most transactions in general. But events (like travel, sporting and entertainment) can be scheduled past the 120 day window. This would leave a loop hole where an unscrupulous business could schedule an event for 122 days in the future and the future and then rug pull on day 121, leaving the consumer with less rights. So the 540 (nearly 15 months) day ‘rule’ is there to protect consumers, but to limit the liability.

Also MSE guide does make reference to the 540 day rule:
Some claims CAN be made after 120 days, but the longest cut-off period is 540 days from the date of the initial transaction.
But these will likely be treated on a case by case basis, given they make up a small minority of transactions, and are often more complex than just a simple ‘refund’.

I think we're finally in agreement then, that S75 is the way to go.
