Just found out that emailing your address to the borough on recycling@richmond.gov.uk
will bring you the sign from the subject. If this is only for Richmond, perhaps you could check whether your borough has similar scheme, or point it out to them (if they don't have such already).
...and a Happy Xmas too!

Would itHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Heh, well a) it's exactly the same as a piece of paper someone else has printed on for you, and b) you're weighing up one piece of paper for a sign, once, vs several sheets of paper PER junk mail every day!0

Could i just add that Royal Mail will continue to deliver " Junk Mail " through your letter box even if you display the message above.
They are contractually required to deliver the item as addressed .
So please do not hit your nice postie when he keeps popping them through your letter box !!:rotfl: He is only doing his job.
You have to opt -out using the mail preferance service on Royal Mails website.
Hope this helps !:j0 -
From what I understand, Post Office are paid to deliver the no-name junk mail by the respective companies but they can post no more than 3 per day to each householder. (or is that per week?, I think day)** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0

You could always do what I do, save it up & send it back in the pre-paid envelopes they helpfully provide.Winnings

Displaying the sign is presumably though to stop the drops of pizza menus and taxi cards, etc, rather than actual "mail"?0

It doesn't do any good any how you still get illiterate/blind/numpety's posting there rubbish including betterware/Kleenezer rubbish0
-
It might be better if you print this out and send it to Royal Mail as they tend to take ages replying otherwise. That was my experience anyway.
Make sure you use the freepost address that Edna_Bucket posted in her link.0
