Aldermore and missing refund.

On 21st November my current ISA provider, AJ Bell, sent a £50,000 transfer to Aldermore for a fixed term ISA. It was sent via BACs. A week later Aldermore told AJ Bell that the banking reference they had given was incorrect and the payment bounced. Allegedly it is being paid back to AJ Bell. But it hasn't and AJ Bell cannot establish from Aldermore where they claim to have sent the repayment. I am 73 and this is becoming a bit stressful. I have sent secure messages and emails to Aldermore but no replies. I am sure the money will eventually turn up ! Won't it ?

Yes the money will turn up. Both Aldermore and A J Bell are reputable providers. You just need to keep chasing it.0
