Transferring £ from a Help to Buy ISA into a Cash ISA

Hello,
I have around £12k saved in a Help to Buy ISA and would like to transfer this into an existing Cash ISA. Does anyone know if this is possible?
I have seen a previous post on here asking the same question, and one person responded to say it was possible, but I'd like to be sure.
Many thanks in advance.

Yes, you can do this, provided the product you want to transfer into supports transfers - make sure you use the receiving provider's ISA transfer process.

A Help To Buy ISA is a cash ISA, so it can be transferred as a cash ISA into another cash ISA.

Yes, my son did this earlier this year.
