Buyer bought and paid for two items separately - can I post together?

I've hardly sold anything lately and someone bought and paid for a BIN with free postage yesterday and now the same buyer has done the same today for another item. Is it in order to post them together with one tracking number or safer to post separately with individual tracking numbers? I've tried to search but not getting an exact match to this situation. Many thanks.

Can’t see it’d be a problem sending together, possibly cheaper1

I would post together and add the same tracking number to both items when you mark as dispatched2

Things may have changed but this used to throw up an error after the same tracking number had been entered for the second time.GrubbyGirl_2 said:I would post together and add the same tracking number to both items when you mark as dispatched0 -
Whenever I've sent 2 items together, I've informed the seller that they will arrive in one parcel so that they don't "miss" one of the items2

Definitely send together, and (if it was me) do a partial refund for postage on one of them. It helps build good Feedback and avoids being marked down on postage costs.1

Many thanks everyone for the advice. I was just sure I'd read (but couldn't find it when I looked!) that you couldn't do the same tracking number for two separate items which ran the risk of the buyer saying one item had not arrived. However you've all cleared my mind on that one.0

You can still do a part refund off the order for any reason really, I'd probably upgrade to tracked (if not already) and give the buyer the difference I'd saved.Rantband said:

I have had this several times for craft items that I make, so not exactly the same, but I always ask before posting.0
