How do I unlock this thermostat?

All of these permutations of pressing / holding down buttons were tried first pass. I had to go out at the point at which I left the thread yesterday afternoon, but this whole system is really p'ing me off as there appears to be no mechanism of switching the main heating system off, although it can for the zoned areas. I know the heating is on simply because the position of the boiler flue is adjacent to my Ring doorbell and it hasn't stopped tingling all night, despite being on the lowest sensitivity setting. (It's 1°C, cold upstairs - although I am happy ensconced in my heated blanket and multiple quilts - and yet the kitchen radiators is still being heated at a low level. I've turned the thermostat down from 12° to 8°C and moved the thermostat from the cold main house into the kitchen but it's still going. It would be helpful to me to just switch the whole thing off because heating an empty room is just a waste of money.

So much to read, so little time.

I have this problem with the boiler firing even when the thermostat isn’t calling for heat. It needs an electrician. The heating engineer who serviced the system reckons it’s either the motorised valve being faulty (a common issue) or the receiver for the wireless thermostat wired wrong. Electrician will be here tomorrow to look at it.

There must (should) be a single isolating switch, usually adjacent to the boiler, or perhaps where the hot cylinder is, if you have one?
But, I wouldn't recommend turning it all off. Fair chance the boiler is doing just what it's designed to - preventing damage to your house during these frosty days. The boiler itself will likely have a frost setting to protect it.
Or, if course, it could also be that zone valves are letting by a little.
Do you describe your system? Make&model of boiler, location, hot cylinder, and how many zones?  Where are the motorised valves? And where are the room stats located, and what type?

The manual,  https://www.heatcom.dk/en/user-guides/ says to hold the second button from the left down for three seconds.

If you have already tried that I would be tempted to turn power off to the heating system at the mains for 1 minute and see if it reboots....

Unless it's got antifreeze in it you are risking a burst pipe or boiler parts if you just turn it off, it's doing frost protection at under 6c
