it would pop up and say
XXX program is trying to access the internet through your browser, do you want XXX program to access the internet?
When I hit the "Disallow" button it didn't stop XXX program from accessing the internet, it stopped the browser from accessing the internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I supose it is some stupid programmer being too lazy to find out how to stop all programs from accessing the internet, so they made it so when you disallowed a program from accessing the internet via the browser it disallowed the browser from accessing the internet.
This meant a reboot to gain access to the internet, simply closing comodo and the browser wasn't enough. So when it poped up saying a program was trying to access the internet through the browser you had to think "If I say no I will have to reboot and hope the program doesn't try again, or do I allow it"
It also just allowed many programs to access the internet, even in custom mode.
I thought it was a waste of space. Threw up a few alerts to make you think it was working but missed most of the things AVG caught on the same machine.
Comodo Firewall is one of the best free firewalls. It's a bit pop up happy but you get used to it. As for rebooting when you deny access i've never had that happen to meDon't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best
Just because it's free don't mean it's good
Ditch Norton Now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wall:
Just Because you read it some where don't mean it's right

You could also download Trogan Hunter. It's free for 30 days but there is an option to update it for a further 12 months free.
This software is for removing trojans only though. http://www.misec.net/Please do not feed the Trolls!0
