Claiming for a group booking

We were four friends travelling together under one booking when our easyJet flight was cancelled. Should the person who made the booking claim for us all?  Or should we claim indivdually?

    It will be easier for the lead passenger to claim for everyone. easyJet make this fairly easy on their claim form.
