MrTupper said:Just a quick update. I found emails from the carpark firm in my deleted spam box.
They refused my first appeal saying
"Your appeal states that you purchased a pay and display ticket or mobile payment session. However, after checking the mobile providers mobile payment and/or pay and display machine audit reports for your stay, there are no transactions for the registration mark which would suggest there has been a "major keying error" when purchasing a pay and display ticket/mobile payment session"
The machine screen was blank when I arrived so that's why I tried re entering my reg.

Hi all. It's been a while. But I have just received a letter from HM Courts & Tribunal Services. Do I fill in the defence forms with a photo of my pay and display ticket and my version of events or should I see a solicitor or Citizens advice bureau. Can I apply for a longer time(more than 14 days). Because I am on holiday next week. Thanks @coupon-mad0

Please read the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, and the 12 steps in the Defence Template Announcement (both Announcements pinned near the top of the forum thread list). It's a step-by-step with advice, guidance and pictures.Follow that closely, none of either will advise dealing with it in the way you're suggesting. Come back if there's something you don't understand. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Hi. The email was sent by the debt collectors legal team.

Haha!
So they spent a court £35 fee filling a claim and will now accept £20 to crawl back under their stone. This IS worth considering and would be considered a win in our view!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
