So my defence is that I literally know nothing about this claim. I have not used the car park in question and I have no knowledge of any other driver of my car doing so. Is this sufficient?

Clearly not, which is why Keith P has given you the link and info you need.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ah, I see, I need to email it to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
Too late to print sign and send off now. I will note your advice about emailing during office hours. Now.....how to word a defence that is basically, I wasn't there and I don't know who was in my car.

@Coupon-mad You are invaluable to so many people and I appreciate it's the same questions. Much appreciated.

@Coupon-mad I shall base my defence on the 30 clause base letter, adjusting where necessary for my circumstances but leaving in clauses that (to my untrained eye) don't seem relevant at this point.
It does seem insufficient to state 'I wasn't there' though. I mean what else can I say, apart from the paragraphs provided?
