Parking Charge Notice

Options
To cut a long story short. I received a parking charge notice stating that I didn't pay for parking (I did, but apparently too late and ANPR flags you if you don't pay within 5 minutes of entering a car park). I appealed on numerous grounds (like I paid!) including that the date on the pcn stated the 17th as the date of contravention even though this is the morning after the period for which I hadn't technically paid to park (I.e. I had paid to park for 24 hours from 11pm on the 16th so the period where I contravened was 10-11pm ish on the 16th).

I appealed to them and then appealed to the ias but both were rejected (though Ias expressed sympathy).

What can I do now? I don't intend to pay but how do I legally challenge this contract enforcement? What is my best option?

Also is my date point above a worthy challenge alone?

the parking charge notice is from a Ltd company rather than a local authority.

Thanks!

To be clear, nothing was left on my car - all correspondence came retrospectively in the post.

Just ignore them obviously.  You should never have wasted time on the IAS. Who are 'they'?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry for radio silence. Update - after appeals not working or mediation (essentially me paying up) it looks like it will go to a small claims court. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I best handle this? Mediator said that judges will base on evidence and ultimately - I should have known about terms and conditions because of signage prior to entry. Even though there is no mention of payment method (can only pay coins or phone) it said this inside so by choosing to stay I ' accepted' these terms. Essentially I paid the earliest opportunity I could - once I had carried sleeping children to the hotel room and logged on WiFi. However they are saying this was well over an hour. During mediation she said that the other party (excellent parking solutions) would have allowed it if it had only been 30 minutes which sounds ridiculous because either way I have paid for the full time and they are trawling back through cctv to try and catch me out retrospectively.

Fortunately the Mediator isn't a Judge;-Fury at Darlington's controversial car park where five minute stay could cost £100 (yahoo.com)

I saw this. There is another one in the northern echo and others where a dad challenged, went to county court and won but our circumstances aren't exactly the same. Gives me hope though! I would rather not have a ccj against me but I feel like I need to stick to my guns - I paid, admittedly later than they say I should have but I acted in good faith and paid at the earliest possible opportunity. It's a scam.
