Possible Rate/Mice in loft?

Thanks everyone. Haven't heard any scratching/scuttling noises coming from loft lately so hopefully the pellets have worked. Fearing dead bodies though, I don't plan to go up the loft for some time!! Might pluck up courage by summer when we'll need the suitcases from there... ThisisWeird, hopefully the skeletons will block the holes, positive thinking, thank you! I've tried one of those sonic repellents in the garden to deter cats from using lawn as a toilet: it didn't work - saw cats rolling about luxuriously in the sun on the lawn less than a foot away from said repellent!
It's terraced house and I saw the van in the road at a neighbours place too, so hopefully they have been hit by a double pronged blue pellet application!1 -
You are lucky your council deal with mice, ours don’t. And although they may give some advice, it’s probably not part of their remit to go around the house working out where they’re coming from.
For what it’s worth mine tended to reappear in autumn every year when it started to get colder. I now have permanent baited traps in the attic - caught one last year, but nothing has come back in this year. Traps seem to me to be less cruel than poison because it’s quicker. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
