  • Barclays have still not sorted this out (1 week) and I still have no money and I have missed paying my bills still don't know where my wages have gone. I have called everyday and got no help. What should I do next, I made a complaint 1 week ago and they said I need to wait until 9th December.

You'd said on Tuesday that "they have managed to move my balance from switch to the new account" so surely you should have access to it there?

Anyway, I don't believe it's reasonable for them to expect you to wait at least another week for progress on this, so if you're not getting anywhere with their standard complaints team you might be able to get through to the executive one if you try contacting the CEO (with persistence), or alternatively you might find that the Financial Ombudsman Service are able to intervene on your behalf if you phone them - they'll normally only get involved after complaints reach the end of the bank's process but if it's an urgent matter where time is of the essence then they may be able to step in.
  • I have access to my balance but it was only £100 I have no access to my wages and they have bounced out of the old account 5 days ago and my work place said they have not received them back.

I have missed all my monthly bills.

Fair enough - you did also say that you had savings to fall back on, are you able to pay bills from that money while waiting for Barclays to sort this out?
