  • Good idea, I'll do that. I've done my best to find out who the landowner is but I get a bunch of different property agents for the flats the car park is for. So even if it's a LBC I shouldn't bother contacting P4Parking or their debt collection agency (CIS)? The letter to the MSP is on its way. Thanks for your help!

    Hello,

I’m also at this stage. I’ve ignored all their letters until last week when I received a Letter Before Claim. I live in England, the tickets are also from a residential area in England.

Considering it’s a residential area, the firm dealing with the parking spaces won’t receive our complaint so plan A doesn’t work.

I’ve been reading the Newbies thread but I’m confused as to what plan B actually is?

These parking tickets are all windscreen tickets and the company is P4Parking.

    I would appreciate any advice.

    Thank you.

Plan B is either appeal (too late to appeal if you have a LBC) or do as the second post of the NEWBIES thread explains at LBC stage.

  • OK, well the letter I have is titled “Letter Before Claim” and it’s sent from P4Parking Ltd.

it’s the usual blather about paying before 30 days.

Then it goes on to say do not contact us and all contacts should now be made directly with their agents CIS (address is Glasgow).

So to clarify, I don’t need to respond to this Letter Before Claim?

    thanks all

Yes you can ignore that as they don't have a litigation team.
