MSE website weekly email reminder

I wonder if I am the only member who is getting exasperated by the free weekly email reminder that pops up wheneber I use the website without a link from the weekly email. This reminder did not invade the website reading material many months ago and has become increasingly annoying..

Hi @TheRedHerring
I mentioned on this thread how you can change your preference.
If the popup keeps re-appearing, it usually means you are either blocking our cookie that remembers your preference, or you didn't allow us to set 'Functional Cookies' when you gave your cookie preference..

Although I follow most things of interest there's always one or two things that are new to me. You can always delete it after all it's not spam.0 -

1. Go to our Cookie Page a and click "How can I control or delete these cookies?" (Direct Link).
2. Click to Accept All Cookies, or at least Functional Cookies.
3. Try dismissing the banner and see if it stays dismissed.
If that doesn't work, it might be that you've denied our Cookies in you browser settings.
