Evian and tethered caps on plastic bottles

Evian is very different from Buxton. I would struggle to distinguish the British ones (Buxton, Highland Spring, Harrogate etc.) but the Continental ones (Evian, Volvic, Vittel) are definitely different.1

I used to sometimes buy the Kirkland bottler water from Costco which worked out about 10p a bottle, but now I just use a Brita filter.
A US article above but there are some Water Sommeliers in the UK too if you want to ensure you get the best pairing between your choice of main and water.0 -

I can taste the difference between Evian and tap water or Buxton (which I dislike). Yet I can't taste any difference between cow and goat milk or Lactofree.
Milk & More is now delivering various sizes of Avant mineral water. Five litres costs 1.39 and delivery is free. Took me a while to find out that it's from Turkey. We will try it for tea & coffee and cooking (boiling & steaming) and see how we get on.
Cristalline water at B&M is cheap, but it's British water with the French branding, whereas the French Cristalline is #1 bottled water brand in France. Evian used to be #1 bottled water in UK, but Highland Spring has overtaken it. I have seen comments from Scottish people saying that (a) it doesn't come from the Highlands (b) it tastes like Scottish tap water and (c) for many years they allowed sheep to graze near the springs.
As a child in holiday in North Wales, my entire family drank from a clear mountain stream in Snowdonia. All four of us and my grandmother, had horrendous rear end incidents. We completely forgot that the water would be contaminated by sheep poo !
Husband likes Badoît but I can only get it from Ocado or French Click and it's expensive. I switched him to San Pellegrino but that's getting expensive too, now. 95% of San Pellegrino production is consumed in Italy, which surprised me.
