I get my broadband from Virgin Media and got a phone call from them the other day about "upgrading" my account (they want more money)
After a while I ended up with 1000Mbs internet and a new router, I suppose I need a new router for 1000Mbs and a 360 box which I thought was just a way of accessing online content, similar to an Amazon Echo for the same price as I was paying on my last contract.
I did not realise that the 360 box got me everything and was their equivalent of Sky Q.
The annoying thing is I just renewed my Sky Q subscription in September.
Can I give/lend my 360 box to my daughter who is also on Virgin Media broadband and will it work or will it be tied to my broadband account?
I know forumites will say try it but I will have to make a special 100 mile trip to try it but if it won't work I won't make the trip, but I will be visiting her at Christmas.
