Benefits going up 6.8% in April. Does that mean ESA and PIP too?

If one gets £1590 a month does this mean my benefits are going up £103 in April?

6.7% yes..... some benefits are by law (which a government can of course change!) increased by the September inflation rate like PIP and some the government can pick and choose like U/C in terms of whether to uprate and how much.

Going by OP past threads they are still claiming Income Related ESA and PIP and not UC.

If IR ESA was to go up again (I get the top amount you can get living on my own and getting PIP) without any increase in the Personal Tax Allowance, would I start paying tax.0

That's because both of those benefits are not taxable.
