    I got the laptop this morning. It has 128mb of ram - don't know what the processor is though - can someone remind me how to find this out. Control Panel - system just says pentium 2.

    I don't want to spend too much time on it but if I can happen by some extra memory and a win XP or 2k disk then that may keep me out of trouble for a bit.

    Any PC that supports an Ethernet card !

    I had "broadband" (10 meg) at work 13 or 14 years ago before Pentium processors were even thought of and my PC had a 540Mb (that's Megabyte) disc in it and just 64 meg of memory.

    I'm currently using a PC at home that runs Windows NT Worskstation, a version of Windows that PREDATES Win95. No USB but I don't need it !
