Company sent me wrong item twice so far

Hi,
Looking for advice.
I placed an order with a company. They sent me the wrong item.
I notified them.
They then sent a replacement - but that also was the wrong item.
I notified them again.
I have spent several hours trying to get hold of people to get it sorted.
They have sent a third 'replacement', which I have little faith is going to be the correct item at this point.
I suggested they sent the item from a store rather than their warehouse as I think they might have a barcode error. This suggestion was ignored.
I want to know what my rights are as I still haven't received the right item, I've been holding onto these wrong items. Now they've told me I have to take the items that they sent me that were the wrong item to be posted back to them.
I don't agree with this.
As they have:
- taken my money
- sent me things I didn't ask for
- required me to spend hours and hours trying to get hold of their customer service to chase the item I should have been sent, send emails photos ecr
- requested I spend even more of my time repackaging stuff and then walking to a post office, queuing and loosing a few more hours to their incompetence.
So far I have gained nothing. I have tried to buy an item online, instead being sent repeatedly the wrong thing, spent time waiting for it and chasing for it, had my money taken and lost time and gained stress.
Is there any compensation or rights a person has where they can just say no. I'm not putting more time into this.
Do I have to take the time to post the things back or can I tell them they've wasted enough of my time and donate them to crisis.
Thanks

Forget stress and compo, it's a trivial matter and you haven't actually incurred any real costs, have you? When the second replacement (not third) arrives, if it's correct, ask them to arrange a parcel collection or to send you a prepaid postage label so you can send the first two back. If the second replacement isn't correct, do the same for all three items, get a refund and order from a competent retailer.2 -
Ask them for returns labels to send them back. As they are wrong it's their responsibility.
Compensation. Sorry, unless they are prepared to offer a good will gesture. All you are entitled to is either the right product of a refund.Life in the slow lane0
