Nationwide Credit Card Application
Comments

Hi guys
Share that Nationwide has approved my credit card application.
I submitted an online application with eligibility outcome that "We may be able to offer you a credit card".
The application was referred. A letter arrived to request income documents.
They took 2 business days to review my pay slip and emailed a Credit Card Agreement for electronic signature.
The credit card account was opened four days later.
Members who receive similar message from eligibility check may wish to apply and see.
Interestingly, there was no hard credit check recorded with any of the three major Credit Reference Agencies - which is weird?0 -
Yep very same process for me. I have had the account open about 6 months now and similarly see no hard credit check recorded against any of the major 3. Saying that though, I had a loan recorded against some of the 3 6 months after setting up the loan so they may be just as archaic at telling the CRAs as they are with the rest of the process.enterprising2016 said:Hi guys

I've noticed with some banks, if they do a soft check and its 'pre-approved', they don't do a further hard check. However, it will still show on your record that you have opened a new card with a new line of credit.0
