I have taken some bits upstairs and brought down 1 of the items I need to return. I will sort those momentarily

Tonight OH is sorting his CV and applying for a job .. I need him to get this jb. His mental health needs him to get this job.. My mental health needs him to get this job!

Hugs to those that need them 

Nothing being done today Flying wise for me.  I have a pile of development work to do for work and that will be my focus once I get home today.  I need to finish creating resources for a new course.  Thankfully I've cleared off my desk so there is actually room to work at it

Afternoon all.  We have just got back from 48 hours with DS1&Co - very nice it was, too, except that I developed a 24-hour tummy bug which kicked in the wee small hours of yesterday morning, and I'm not fully recovered yet.  Instead of going with DH to his cousin's funeral, I stayed in bed for most of yesterday, and so far today I've managed a mug of tea, a mug of coffee, and a banana and slice of toast for breakfast.  We left DS1's at 10.15 with DH driving all the way home without stopping - I had planned to take a break for coffee at the lovely Gloucester services but decided that I wasn't enjoying his driving and so it was better to carry straight on home (it's only a 1½ hr drive all the way).  So here I am, back at my desk, worn out just by unpacking 4 bags.  I think flying is definitely off the cards today!

I shall not be using all my own spoons today (my intention is to sleep all afternoon and take Rosie out later when I've recovered a bit more) so I'm packaging up one to send to pigpen - hope it helps x

Let's see if I can manage to cook an omelette for lunch, and find something ready-cooked out of the freezer for tea...

Me again.  I have wiped all sides, tiles and small appliances in kitchen.

Now, who mentioned fried eggs?  I'm just having a fried egg sandwich as couldn't resist after reading that.

Just stopping for a quick piece of toast for lunch. No fried egg here, but now I’m not sure why not. Have dropped DH off and will pick him up again in a couple of hours, which is to be my admin catch up (rolls about laughing, as if I ever catch up) time.
Bathroom s&s done. Final kitchen box cleared from the landing. Some bits thrown, others for recycling. So now the landing is nearly clear, but only because I have moved the unhomed items into the utility room. I am definitely my own worst enemy.

I have managed a tip trip during my lunch break which I am pleased about. There is still another load to go, and no-one will notice but me, but I feel better for it. Baby steps...

AND.. Squeak is home again.

Dr's are ringing me tomorrow to moan about the medication I am on not working and that I cannot take what they want to prescribe.. like it is my fault.. and to give me medication I don't need and the 'symptoms' are a direct cause of the other medication not working so I am not taking anything for that. Like we can't actually look things up and explore our medical options now.. makes me laugh.

squeak leaking because I am not letting her sit in her room she has work she can get done .. or else!!! I am being evil parent.. my sympathy puddle has dried up. And she is then going in the shower.. smelly teen!!!

Iona.. I hope you feel better soon.. I have banned such bugs in here.. no time for that!
