Apologies if i'm repeating an old post but posting this under the motoring site ( previously posted a general note) where it may be more useful. A while ago I received a police notice to attend a driving course having  been over the speed limit. I signed up for the virtual course and went online to book. I assumed when the list of providers popped up on to the screen they were all the same price.  It appears not and it is worth shopping around.  I realised by complete chance that different providers of the online course charge different fees. The cheapest being £73  and the most expensive at £95.  

So if you are booking check out the list of providers and the prices before booking which when I booked was listed here once i entered my reference and PIN for the penalty notice - www.ukroed.org.uk/faqs/cost-of-a-speed-awareness-course/ . Alternatively  google "cost of speed awareness course" for prices.

You have posted this in the parking section of the Motoring section. I note that you say you are posting in the Motoring section but you have  missed it.  Suggest you either ask one of the forum team to move it or just repost in Motoring section.

Thanks I also find myself in the same situation and found it difficult to compare the cost of the various online courses offered. The best information I could find was a Reddit article on the topic. Currently the online course with Hartlepool Borough Council shows at £79, I haven't checked all the others (there are currently 22 providers) but it appears competitive. I have however written to support@ndors.org.uk asking them to change their website page showing the list of courses so that it can also include (1) distance from the user's address of the in-person courses and (2) the cost for the courses so that it is easier to chose.
