Advice, Disabled access to cemetery.

I wonder if you kind people would be able to give me some advice on behalf of a friend who lost a close relative some months ago. The relative was buried in a church cemetery, and as many of the relatives are now elderly, one is blind, several have walking difficulties, two knee replacements, others with hip replacements…

The OP has been back to the boards several times posting in recent months, but hasn't come back to update this thread, so imagine they didn't seek the relevant permissions, but have likely passed the info we've mentioned back to the family. I wonder if they'll now apply through the formal channels to place a bench as they'd like there to be?
