Office Wifi connectivity issues

Hi, for some reason my laptop no longer connects to the office Wifi signal, but my mobile does.
I've disconnected the signal and retried, type in the password but it will not connect. For other staff, their mobile no longer connects but laptop does!
I have been told it is possible to use the Wifi signal that I get on my phone and somehow turn that into a Wifi signal that I could then tether to on my laptop.
But I have no idea if that is even possible and I certainly have no idea how to do that. I only work here out of hours so have no dealings or contact with any staff to discuss it with.
Any advice please? Thanks

I believe you can have Wi-Fi off some phones but not all of them. I don’t think it’s possible with iPhones.
you probably need to check for your specific phone.
just as an example

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
Sounds like the office WiFi is set to one device per user.0

What is happening when you try to connect and what error messages are you getting?0

Try turning your phone off before entering the building so that it doesn't have a chance to connect to the office wifi.0
